WWE SUPERSHOW 2008 STEELTOWN KIDS had ringside seats for the World Wrestling Entertainment SUPERSHOW presentation at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, on December 13, 2008. It featured all 3 brands RAW SmackDown and ECW. Almost all the Champions were here, including WWE champ, Heavyweight Champ, Women's Champ, USA Champ, ECW Champ, and Tag Team Champions. We
have lots of video of the matches We arrived at Copps Coliseum and there was a huge line-up of fans waiting to be let in and to watch wrestlers arrive and drive into a special parking area. Though we had missed it, Randy Orton (the Legend Killer) was seen walking into Copps where only wrestlers are allowed to go. There was also a rumour that John Cena - undeniably the fan favourite - was seen arriving in a taxi. We also witnessed The Hardy Boyz drive in. Matt Hardy, 32 was driving and Jeff Hardy, 29 was riding in the passenger seat. I'd never seen so many John Cena t-shirts in one spot. The doors opened and the crowd filed in. We looked at the merchandise but didn't buy anything. We went to our seats, which were the second best seats. The lights dimmed and the cheering rose to a deafening roar. The name announcer came in. The Canadian national anthem played and then the first wrestlers came in.
The Undertaker was unconscious after being beaten up by Mark Henry and Batista (The Animal). Edge won easily as the Undertaker couldn't even fight back. Edge has had his last match in Raw, and was defeated by Shawn Michaels for the belt before his exit. |
