Randy "The Legend Killer" Orton vs John Cena |

This match was the main event of the evening. Randy Orton came in first. The fans loved him. After showing off a bit (I'm not saying anything mean about him, but he does show off), John Cena came in. The cheers were so loud it seemed louder than thunder. John threw his hat to the audience. Then he threw his shirt near us and a fight broke out beside me for it. It was between 3 people. After a bit of feuding (They were ignoring the match) a man got it. Meanwhile Randy Orton was pummeling John Cena (It seemed Randy controlled most of the match). But there were times when John was in charge, like when he did his incredibly famous "You can't see me" which the crowd chanted along with John. Then John held up his hand, and we all knew what was coming. The Five Knuckle Shuffle. Amazingly Randy was able to get up after that, which might have discouraged John a bit. If it did John didn't show it. Then to everyone's surprise The Great Khali came in, holding the heavyweight champion belt he'd won from John. John ran over to The Great Khali and started pounding him. You can see that video here. Then Randy Orton grabbed John and dragged him away from The Great Khali eager to continue their fight. Once during the match John was thrown out of the ring. Randy then shoved John into the stairs and John fell directly in front of us. If there hadn't been a guardrail John would have crashed into us. I didn't touch John because it's disrespectful to touch them when their fighting and they probably don't want to be touched then. Randy came over kicked John, then dragged him back into the ring. After some wrestling John landed the pin. Almost immediately his music started up. I think it even started too soon. John then made a little speech, mostly about Judgement Day on May 20 where'd he'd try to take back the belt from The Great Khali. John then started moving to the audience, touching hands. I was holding a WWE magazine with him on the cover and a Sharpie hoping for an autograph. He handed on of his wristbands to a kid, then his other one to another kid. He was just starting to pass me again when he stopped grabbed the magazine and Sharpie from my hands, ripped the lid off the Sharpie with his teeth and scribbled in his signature, then he handed the stuff back and continued on his way out. |
