REPORT BY Jennifer Penny We parked at our usual spot and walked to the gates. We handed in our tickets as we entered a lady came up to us and asked us "Do you guys want a bracelet?" "Sure," we answered taking one. We went a little farther and there was another lady on stilts holding yellow carnations she handed us one each and we went directly to the stands where we sat in the end zone we had just settled down when mom asked us "Why didnt you get programs?" we said we didnt see anyone handing them out. So some of us stayed and saved our spots while others went and got programs. When we came back we watched through binoculars the junior football players. After the junior football players we watched the football players practice not too far away we heard people shouting "Jesse look this way Jesse!" Craig Yeast couldnt play because he had the flu. Kevin Eakin #12 had his first football game ever with the team. Danny McManus didn't play throughout the entire game, although he was warming up. Jamie Boreham missed a field goal but missed and got to try again because of a penalty and he got it. At the beginning of half time, we held up a banner with some men in the end zone for an Ottawa player they went to college with. At half time, we watched John Ellison sing "Some Kinda Wonderful". Jesse Lumsden got a touchdown early in the game. Click here for other games: TI CATS vs Winnipeg 2005 |
