The final score was 27-22 for Hamilton, in front of a crowd of 25,107 CFL fans.

 

The Tiger Cats scored a few touchdowns, after a few months of no success.  DaVon Fowlkes had 86 yard punt return touchdown, So I am sure somebody won a Plasma TV somewhere.  It was his second career game in the CFL. Edmonton has not won against Hamilton at home since July 2003.

Ricky Ray, the Eskimo QB threw 2 interceptions one of which was intercepted by wide receiver D.J. Flick. DJ was injured in a play and returned later in the game.  The fans went crazy each time the Ticats got a touchdown happy for at least one. Ricky Ray took part of quarterback sneak and stole a touchdown.

At halftime there was a a cheerleading extravaganza with Sabres cheerleaders, Ticat cheerleaders, McMaster cheerleaders, Pure Energy Dance Studio cheerleaders and Starlite Studio cheerleaders.

Pigskin Pete is retiring soon. He has served the Ticats for 31 years and they had a special farewell with all the cheerleaders on the field . The crowd gave a large "Oskee Wee Wee" For his benefit . His last game will be the October game against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

There was a melee on the field after the game involving Brock Ralph and Gass.

Donald Brady from the Edmonton Eskimos kept getting heckled by the "fans."  Here he is taking a bow and saying thank you to those who where heckling him.  He said he has played in front of people all over the world.


This player had to sit out a few plays.
