Did you know Patty from TVO Kids was fired?
Well, when I found out, I wrote the newspaper and they printed my letter which I've added below. If you want to support Patty, please write to your newspaper, and at their website www.tvo.org and then clicking the picture of the telephone marked TALK TO US allows all the employees at TVO and (Patty too, as her friends there can forward it to her.)  HERE IS THE Petition to support Patty.

Here is what they printed in the Hamilton Spectator:   My name is Amanda Penny and I'm 11 years old.  I heard TVO fired Patty from TVO Kids. My 4 & 6 year old sisters and I liked her a lot.  I liked it when she was Queen Patty and chef Patty. I'd like to know why they fired Patty.
If she was leaving she should have had a big farewell too.  I've been watching TVO for a while now, and that makes me wonder why they fired her if she has worked for there for so long, and other hosts have done other shows and didn't get fired.  It's very disappointing that they did that.  Now I'm not sure that I'm going to watch TVO any more.  It's not going to be right without her.
My mom says it's public broadcasting so they will care about what I say.  I am going to add something to my site to let the kids know what's up  shortly.  Thank you for your response.  Amanda Penny
